Born and raised in NYC, Nicole recieved her B.A. in studio art from Wellesley college and participated in outdoor  sculptural 'interventions' with MIT's  Reclamation Artists. She spent a year teaching on the Navajo reservation and then  on to Tucson where she studied technical theater and started welding. She sought further training at Wentworth Institute for Technology and Penland School of Crafts for blacksmithing. She has her M.F.A. from Johnson State College. Nicole has been working in the Berkshires since 2000, first from her Pittsfield studio and now in Stephentown , NY. She has recieved two Pittsfield Cultural Council Awards. Her work is in private collections in the U.S. and abroad.
